I despise, as uglier and stupider, more chickenshit than the originals, G-rated, bowlderizing euphemisms for cusswords. They are the semantic equivalents of pasties, only pasties can be... fun, stylish, ironic. So maybe they're the semanitc equivalent of these totems.
